Looking to be a part of the junior roller derby community? We are a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit and are always looking for extra helping hands to make our events run smoothly and safely for our skaters! Whether on skates or off, we have a place for those who are passionate about derby or just want to share in the thrills of this action-packed sport and lend a hand in the process!
It takes an army of volunteers to organize and facilitate events for this action-packed sport. Every opportunity our skaters have is made possible by our volunteer coaches, parents, officials, non-skating officials, and more.
Parents of league members are expected to play an active role in league events and volunteer to keep us rolling strong. Throughout the season, there will be opportunities to volunteer with fundraising and outreach through community events and activities, as well as ongoing support roles for our many bouts and tournaments. Opportunities range from bake sale donations to non-skating official roles and everything in between!
Some of the main volunteer positions needed to make every bout possible are explained below.
Medics
Keeping our skaters safe is a top priority, and we’re always seeking additional support to staff our events with medical personnel.
Officials
Our officials are who really keep us rolling! Whether on or off skates, there are a variety of officiating roles that are essential to the game!
