Battle of the B-Sides 2026
Rockin’ City Junior Roller Derby is proud to host the 2nd annual Invitational “B-team Champs” tournament in Waco, Texas on June 27-28!
Join us for two action-packed days of hard-hitting derby action as we welcome some amazing teams from across the US:
✨Philly Roller Derby Juniors
✨Columbia Killer B’s
✨Denver Junior Roller Derby
✨and our own Rockin’ City Rebels!
For a little added excitement, we’re giving Level 2s an opportunity to hit the track for a mashup on Saturday afternoon, and we’ll round out the evening with some of Texas’ best adult skaters in a mashup against local and visiting Legacy JRDA skaters! More details on this below.
We’ll update the schedule once seeding is complete, but here’s the gist:
Saturday, June 27
Doors open at 7:00am!
8:00am – Seed 1 v. Seed 4
10:00am – Seed 2 v. Seed 3
12:00pm – Level 2 MASHUP! (regulation)
2:00pm – LG1 v. LG2
4:00pm – WG1 v. WG2
6:30pm – JRDA Legacy v. Texas All-Star Invitational MASHUP! (regulation)

JRDA Legacy vs Texas All-Star Invitational Mashup!
For the first time ever, the best Texas adult skaters (MRDA & WFTDA) will play against local and visiting Legacy JRDA skaters (OPEN & FEMALE divisions). Free entry for skaters, thanks to a generous sponsor! You must register by reserving a ticket below.
Must be 18+ to skate.
check-in by: 5pm
warmups: 6:05pm
1st whistle: 6:30pm

9:00am – WG4 v. remaining unplayed opponent
11:00am – LG4 v. remaining unplayed opponent
1:00pm – Join us to celebrate our graduating seniors!
2:30pm – Championship Game!
4:30pm – Award Ceremony!

🔹If you are a registered volunteer for the weekend (NSO, SO), you receive free entry for the weekend! – No ticket purchase required, please check-in at the front upon arrival.
